What is gum disease?
Gum disease – known medically as periodontal disease or periodontitis – is a common problem. It’s not only the leading cause of tooth loss in adults, but can also lead to complications with further significant health risks.
Gum disease starts with inflammation of the gums (gingivitis). This can progress to full-blown periodontal disease.

How do I book an appointment
Call our friendly team and they will help you arrange an appointment. We are available 4 days per week, from 8.00 am to 5pm. On Friday we are open from 8 – 12pm.
What if I am anxious to visit the dentist?
We know it can be a daunting process, so we make sure we guide you through every step of the way and make you feel as comfortable as can be. Our team is trained to help you feel at ease from the moment you arrive in our practice, additionally we also offer various means of sedation

Our Treatments
Do your teeth get cleaned during a check-up?
A regular check up is usually split into two different parts; the main check of your teeth and mouth, and the cleaning process. When you arrive for your appointment, you’ll be greeted by your dentist who will ask to take a look in your mouth.
When should my child visit the dentist?
Generally speaking children should see a dentist by the time they’re one year old or when their first tooth comes through, whichever happens first. After that, we will let you know how often to bring your child for a check-up which is usually every 6-12 months.
How often should I book?
Healthy adults and children should have their teeth cleaned via scaling at least twice each year. Periodontal problems can cause tooth decay and gum infection.
