This is why we encourage patients of all ages to attend regular, bi-monthly check-up and cleans with our dentists, as they can quickly put you on the road to better long-term health and wellbeing.
What does it involve?
The components of your bi-annual check-up allows your dentist to thoroughly assess your whole mouth, including your teeth, soft tissues, and jaw. During this time, we will also be on the lookout for any concerns, including signs of tooth decay, irregular bite, and more. If necessary, our dentist may also require oral photography or x-rays may be taken for diagnostic purposes.
Once our dentist has gained a comprehensive overview of your oral health, we will begin the cleaning component of your appointment. This simply involves cleaning and polishing your teeth before applying solutions (such as fluoride) to prevent decay.
Patients will also receive helpful advice about their oral health care habits, assisting them on their journey to optimal dental health. After all, effective oral care begins at home and a dedicated approach to the necessary routine is essential.
Our check-up and cleans serve a vital role in the detection, treatment and prevention of dental disease, including the most common of all – gum disease. Without the attention of an oral health care professional, gum disease can potentially cause tooth loss and the breakdown of existing dental work.

How do I book an appointment
Call our friendly team and they will help you arrange an appointment. We are available 4 days per week, from 8.00 am to 5pm. On Friday we are open from 8 – 12pm.
What if I am anxious to visit the dentist?
We know it can be a daunting process, so we make sure we guide you through every step of the way and make you feel as comfortable as can be. Our team is trained to help you feel at ease from the moment you arrive in our practice, additionally we also offer various means of sedation
Do you offer government rebates
We offer Veteran, Pension Concession and Child Dental Benefits Schedule rebates.
Can I pay in installments?
We offer various competitive interest free payment plan options that will allow you to pay for your selected treatment in flexible installments.
Our Treatments
Do your teeth get cleaned during a check-up?
A regular check up is usually split into two different parts; the main check of your teeth and mouth, and the cleaning process. When you arrive for your appointment, you’ll be greeted by your dentist who will ask to take a look in your mouth.
When should my child visit the dentist?
Generally speaking children should see a dentist by the time they’re one year old or when their first tooth comes through, whichever happens first. After that, we will let you know how often to bring your child for a check-up which is usually every 6-12 months.
How often should I book?
Healthy adults and children should have their teeth cleaned via scaling at least twice each year. Periodontal problems can cause tooth decay and gum infection.
